This lunch was just a simple one to use up the scraps of deli meat and cheese, and the last little bit of peppers from previous lunches. Scrap lunches always seem to come together so easily. Another thing that worked out? My DIY chocolate pastry. I love those flaky, chocolate pastries from Panera and Starbucks, but
can't splurge all the time, so I discovered that I could recreate it
pretty easily at home. I just cut open a mini croissant, added a little bit of chocolate chunks (I like bittersweet, personally), microwaved for a few
seconds, and inhaled slowly savored. For the lunchbox, I just let it cool, then packed it up.
It's delicious room temp too!
